There are two group of experts taking part in the judging process, the Judges and Oversight Panel. They are formed among the FIABCI Past World Presidents, FIABCI Chapter Presidents and Past Presidents, Past Jury Members and Judges, Past Oversight Panel members, and professionals who are experts in real estate involvement from countries all over the world.
i. Judges
Judges are FIABCI Chapter Presidents or (and) their delegates (representatives). Two experts from each chapter country will be invited to be the Judge. Each will judge for more than one category according to their time capacity and professional orientation.
Taking into consideration of the number of entries and the number of Judges taking part and their prefered categories, the Prix d'Excellence Committee will manage the process with the goal to have more or less equal number of Judges in each category and get as many Judges score for each category as possible.
The Judges are studying projects online and scoring projects of the categories chosen by them (subject to approval and distribution by the Prix d'Excellence Committee) and sending their scores via email to the Asia Pacific Secretariat. In this stage the task of Judges is completed.
ii. Oversight Panel
Members of the Oversight Panel are experienced Judges or real estate professinals invited by the Prix d'Excellence Committee. They are studying all projects online and scoring all the projects. If the number is not many, then we have to distribute the work among the members of the Panel.
The Oversight Panel Members are sending their scores to the Asia Pacific Secretariate online. The Secretariat will collect all scores both from Judges and Oversight Panel for preparing a summary of scores for meeting.
The final decision is decided at the Oversight Panel’s Meeting which will be held in the middle of March of the year where all Oversight Panel members are phsically taking part.
